**Mechanical Engineer - £35K - £45K - Surrey - Defence and Security Systems**

I’m currently recruiting for a leading defence company that specialises in the development and production of custom land and maritime solutions. They’re looking for a creative, skilled, and forward-thinking Mechanical Engineer to join an innovative engineeringteam. You will have the opportunity to take compelling new products from concept all the way through to production for a very impressive range of clients as well as being the Technical Lead on designated projects.

**Main Duties Include**:
+ Innovative design

+ 3D CAD design (AutoCAD/Inventor/Solidworks preferred)

+ Liaising with clients and customers for new and existing products

+ Prototyping and testing

+ Producing and presenting technical specifications

**Skills and Experience Required**:
+ Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline

+ 3D CAD Design experience (Solidworks/AutoCAD/Inventor preferred)

+ Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance

+ Knowledge of BS88 standards

+ Experience/knowledge of full product life cycle

Salary will be between £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience. The company also has a wide range of benefits including a good company pension scheme.
