**Graduate Development EngineerPosition Overview**
- To provide technical review and engineering support to the sales and the operations groups to ensure design controls are suitably deployed and project objectives are achieved.
- Participate in engineering design reviews of planned project deliverables including the scope of design, design validation and review of assumptions made to progress the development of a basis of design for detail engineering and procurement to meet customerrequirements.
- Provide a resource for the Technical Director in the preparation, checking and validation of the basis of design and preparation of quantitative design analysis of proposed glass conditioning equipment and set points prior to detailed design and procurement.
- Review Vendor proposals and provide technical feedback to Procurement and Project Management on the selection of materials and equipment.
- Actively participate in R&D Projects to bring new products to market utilizing engineering and workshop resources, as necessary, under a works-order mechanism to secure resources for timely delivery of planned projects.
- Provide the Sales Team a further technical resource in support of pre-sales technical meetings, presentations and the development of pre-sales layouts and design runs to progress the on-going business development efforts.

**Graduate Development EngineerPosition Requirements**
- Engineering degree (Mechanical Engineering or similar)
- The use of CAD modelling in Solidworks

**Graduate Development EngineerPosition Remuneration**
- Salary circa £25,000
