**The Charity**

St Andrew’s Healthcare is a charity providing specialist mental healthcare services. We work in partnership with a number of NHS, voluntary, educational and research organisations to deliver a range of specialist inpatient and community mental healthcareservices, education and research that helps to improve the lives of people with complex mental health needs.

St Andrew’s Birmingham is a 118 bedded adult mental healthcare facility comprises of eight units that cover medium and low security for both Men and Women. Located in Stirchley, a vibrant area in South Birmingham, easily accessible by road networks and publictransport.

We are very proud that our Birmingham hospital is rated ‘Good’ overall by the Care Quality Commission and ‘Outstanding’ in responsiveness. We are also part of a wider healthcare provider collaborative, REACHOUT, working in association with two other NHSTrusts in the West Midlands.

**Your role with us**

Your role will focus on supporting the day-to-day activity of the Wards and the Nurse Managers. By keeping the administration processes running smoothly, you’ll be helping our nursing and clinical teams to focus on providing great care. It will be importantto build good working relationships while ensuring there is effective communication across the ward.

It’s a varied and demanding job, duties include managing diaries and supporting ward meetings, including minute taking. You will also take care of tasks like document creation, data input, record management and a range of general administration.

You can continue building your skills, alongside your experience, through the many training and development opportunities on offer

**Your profile**
- You will hold a minimum of RSA level 2 (or equivalent) in typing/keyboard skills
- Experience of taking and transcribing meeting minutes is a must. You need to bring us recent experience in a similar admin role and a proven track record of delivering a quality administrative service.
- You will have a highly organised, professional approach to your work, plus the communication skills top build productive relationships.

You will have a flexible working style, with the ability to working effectively in a team and independently.
