**Bar Staff (Golf Resort, Live-In Available)**

**This job will be located at our Ashbury Resort (EX20 4NL)**

**Starting Rates of Pay**:

- 18-20 year olds - £9.35 p/h midweek, £10.28 p/h weekends (set to rise in April 2024 to £9.75 p/h midweek, £10.48 p/h weekends)
- 21+ year olds - £10.50 p/h midweek, £11.55 p/h weekends (set to rise in April 2024 to £11.44 p/h midweek, £12.30 p/h weekends)

**Accommodation can be provided (Full-Time Only): -**
- Single en-suite rooms available (communal lounge, kitchen and laundry facilities - £50 per week rent, all bills included).
- Double en-suite rooms available for ‘**couples**’ or friends willing to share (communal lounge, kitchen and laundry facilities - £40 each per week rent, all bills included).
- The staff Block has recently been refurbished and is in good condition

**Full-time applicants preferable, but Part-Time applicants will be considered.**

- We have a fantastically loyal staff, many of whom have been with is for 10+ years, some have even been with us for 25+ years.

**Duties: -**
- **Bar**:

- All bar related duties i.e. drinks service, re-stocking, clearning, glass washing etc.
- **Activities & Other duties**:

- there is also scope to train other duties covered within this department, such as; running some Activities for our guests (air rifles, air pistols, archery, 5-a-side football, rounders etc), Golf Shop duties, and more.
- **Buggy Routine Duties** - If a 'Driver', then we can also consider varying the role to include monitoring, charging, washing, and taking care of our Golf Buggy fleet (400+ buggies)

**Hours**:

- FULL-TIME preferable, but part-time will be considered - Shift Work.
- As a full-time employee you would generally be expected to work 5 days of the week.
- Due to the nature of the job it will include a combination of daytime and evening time shifts, weekend work is essential and regular (higher rate of pay at the weekend). Common shift timings are: 8.00am-6.00pm, 3.00pm-12.00midnight.

**Person Specification**:

- Fast worker.
- Looking for an honest, hardworking individuals.
- Someone who is flexible in terms of working hours.
- **Someone with an interest in GOLF would be welcomed as much (but not all) of the function at the Resort centers around Golf.**

**Benefits**:

- **Higher rate of pay for weekend work.**:

- Social/Sports membership (i.e. gym, swimming, tennis etc) is approx. £60 per year. Children can also be added for £12 each per year.
- Golf membership £64 per year.

- Death in Service Benefit available (6 month qualifying period)

**Salary**: Up to £12.30 per hour
