An opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join Business Leader Kerrie Newton and her committed team as a Funeral Service Arranger/ Administrator at H & HJ Hutesons Funeral Directors, Barton-Upon-Humber.

As a Funeral Service Arranger/Administrator, you will be one of the very first points of contact for our families. You are going to be the coordinator that supports our families, arranges the funerals and works alongside our teams to ensure that the funerals are delivered at the highest standard, whilst also meeting the personable requests of the families.

Alongside a highly collaborative, supportive team, we will give you the room to stretch and develop within the industry. With both training and learning opportunities, our dedicated Learning and Development team and management team will ensure that you are delivered full training to confidently perform this role and will also promote your progression. This is a full time permanent position working Monday - Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm.

**What does a role as a Funeral Service Arranger/ Administrator at Dignity offer you?**
- Annual salary of £22,841.61
- Accruing 22 - 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Sick pay eligibility after 12 month qualifying period

**What Will I Be Doing As A Funeral Service Arranger?**
- Create a welcoming, safe and caring atmosphere
- Arrange funerals according to Company guidelines ensuring that the full range of services and products are offered, thereby addressing the needs of the client
- Maintain excellent service to client’s who telephone or call the branch
- Provide excellent client service when speaking with all internal/external customers.
- Ensure compliance with credit control, with client letters being sent at appropriate intervals and monitoring outstanding accounts against company requirements.
- Maintain accurate, indexed records of funeral arrangements.
- Be available for clients to visit the deceased during office hours and out of hours by arrangement to company standards and guidelines

**What Do I Need?**
- Previous experience within a Customer Service or Administrative position.
- Proactive approach and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
- Comfortable coming into contact with the deceased through the Chapel of Rest visits.
- Presentable at all times, acting with professional conduct and showing empathy.
- Excellent attention to detail is essential.
- A passion for customer service.

**Advantageous**:

- Previous experience in the industry, though this is not required, as full training will be provided.
