The role consists of planning and managing lorries and maximizing the amount of loads possible out of each vehicle.

Managing self drive plant hire operations with on hire and off hire contracts recorded.

**Required Skills**:
Experience and understanding of computing systems. Most of it is using spreadsheets and an accounting software.

Experience in Managing a team

Local Geographical knowledge.

**The elements included in this role are as follows**:

- To keep haulage and plant hire spreadsheets up to date
- To Liaise with drivers to keep them updated on any changes and make sure customers know an estimated time of arrival
- To make sure all drivers tickets are to satisfaction and the administration team have all they need to invoice the customers
- Make sure trucks are booked in for their 6 weekly checks and any breakdowns are dealt with promptly with our maintenance provider

**Salary**: £28,730.00 per year
