**Full Time (40 hours) 8.30am-5.00pm**

**Hybrid Working / Fully Flexible**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator on behalf of our client to join their dedicated team at our Head Office in Newcastle upon Tyne on a permanent basis.

**The Role**:
As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time, adhering to strict statutory and company deadlines.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Processing BACS payments for monthly payrolls, ensuring a seamless and efficient payroll process.
- Handling all third-party payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Reconciling PAYE figures on both a period-by-period basis and at tax year-end, maintaining meticulous records.
- Preparing monthly payroll journals to maintain accurate financial records.
- Managing the onboarding process for new starters, leavers, and job changes, ensuring accurate input into the payroll systems.
- Reviewing absence reports and calculating adjustments to pay, including Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP), and Shared Parental Pay (ShPP).

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in payroll administration or a similar role is essential.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Strong time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
