**About the company**

**Aim of the Role**
- The Marketing and Press Executive will report to the Marketing Director and is accountable for the visitor and exhibitor marketing output for the UK and Ireland for select Messe Frankfurt international shows. (70%)_
- They are also responsible for maintaining the brand of Messe Frankfurt UK within the UK exhibition press, industry press, and Messe Frankfurt organisation as a whole. (10%)_
- They will support the UK Automechanika and Garage event marketing with clearly defined campaigns and projects. (20%)_

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- The Marketing and Press Executive will report to the Marketing Director and is accountable for the visitor and exhibitor marketing output for the UK and Ireland for select Messe Frankfurt international shows. (70%)_

**1. Achieve Visitor Targets by implementing the UK marketing plan for international show. The overall visitor target will be managed by the global team marketing lead**
- Follow brief provided by each show team (10-15 per year average), edit and negotiate where necessary
- Media buy with the budget allocate for these plans and reconcile invoices for campaign
- Make sure the deliverables are exchanged from head office to the media outlet
- Organise press conferences end-to-end including choosing appropriate venue, budgeting, booking, inviting guests, liaising with Frankfurt, organising meals and dietary requirements, ensure press materials are produced and at the venue, hosting the event.
- Organise UK journalist Press trips
- Manage past visitor database
- Distribute tickets to select association members and negotiate coverage.
- Review the performance of the campaigns and report back to the show teams and use analysis to shape future marketing campaigns and media spend.
- Grow and maintain great relationships with industry press by following the press grading tasks, implementing a press programme and attending press happy hours at the HQ events
- Ensure all proofs are collated and collaborate with finance team to ensure all bills are paid and the UK subsidiary and HQ admin is conducted in a timely manner,
- Report on UK visitors numbers to the MF team

**2. Assist sales targets in achieving Sales Targets through building and executing multi-channel exhibitor marketing plan for each show**
- Work with Account Managers to create comprehensive plan for Exhibitor Marketing
- Manage competitive show schedule, data builds and implementation of marketing from this.
- Project manage annual Trade association Christmas Lunch.
- Review the performance of the campaigns and report back to the show teams and use analysis to shape future marketing campaigns and media spend.

**3. Raise and Maintain profile of Messe Frankfurt UK within UK Events Industry and Messe Frankfurt Global**
- Manage MFUK brand message across communication platforms including website, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram
- Liaising with UK Exhibition press and trade associations, including writing and sending press releases.
- Ensure UK subsidiary is aligned with global standards and requirements
- Nurture and foster great working relationships with HQ show teams

**4. **Support the Automotive inbound team in collecting proofs and coordinating venues for press or networking drinks and running the student programme in collaboration with stakeholders

**5. Other Tasks**
- Oversee data cleansing, analysis and reporting of competitive data
- Block hotel booking for company trips to Frankfurt
- All associated administration

**Salary**: £21,940.75-£25,000.00 per year
