The Children’s Integrated Complex Care and Speech and Language Therapy Clinical Business Units have recently established an Admin Hub which supports the delivery of clinical care through provision of comprehensive admin support.
We are seeking an experienced Administrator/Administration Assistant with a working knowledge of an Admin Hub or Single Point of Access, to provide the additional support that the clinical teams have required.
You will support the service working to ensure there is a comprehensive and responsive support for the clinical teams which includes Speech and Language Therapy, Children and Young People’s Occupational Therapy, Haemoglobinopathy Service, Paediatric Dietetic Service and our Children’s Community Nursing Team.
You will be based at Woodfield Road Medical Centre. You will report to the Hub Administration Manager.

The post holder is a member of the Admin Hub team and the responsibilities of the wider team are to support clinical services to manage the daily demand of referrals and to effectively manage referrals and appointments, respond to patient and professional queries, EHCP Needs Assessment co-ordination and provide general administrative support to the clinical services.
The Admin Hub is responsible for processing and registering new referrals, booking clinics, updating waiting lists and communicating appointment related information to patients, carers and health professionals and liaison with professionals team both within and outside of CLCH. They aim to make effective use of resources, reduce duplication and ensure that referrals are effectively and safely managed through the system. They ensure that appropriate referrals are accepted and any urgent needs highlighted to the appropriate clinical services.
The Admin Hub team operates from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. The Admin Hub team provides support to services within the Children’s Division across both the Speech and Language Therapy and Children’s Integrated Complex Care CBUs.
