If so, we have an exciting opportunity in Erith for an Assembler to work for one of our clients who design, develop, manufacture, and sell a range of state-of-the-art, ground-breaking security and defence solutions.

Our client is offering an excellent salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

**As the Assembler your responsibilities would include**:

- Responsibility for the movement, safe handling, transport and firing of prohibited weapons
- Support customer demonstrations and range activities
- Test weapons and ancillary equipment
- Reporting and escalating any issues with the weapons
- Correctly identifying parts and assembling into the various assemblies used in production
- Building weapon sub-assemblies and other ancillary equipment to specifications
- Assembly of small parts with attention to detail
- Carrying out degreasing and cleaning on components
- Assisting with packing and despatch of products
- Assist in servicing weapons and ancillary equipment
- Other duties as deemed reasonable

**Person Specification**:

- Previous Operator and Maintainer experience on MAG 58/GPMG and HMG/M2 weapon platforms
- RCO Qualified
- Possess a full UK valid driving Licence
- Ability to instruct at Operator and Maintainer level
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to undertake training and continuing professional development
