**Job Introduction**:
**Can you help us run our payroll and manage our HR systems?**

We’re looking for a payroll assistant who is also interested in HR systems (or vice versa). Join us in this role and we’ll help you develop expertise across payroll as well as the diverse range of specialist HR systems that make up our digital portfolio.

**Main Responsibility**:
It’s an exciting time to join our team. As an organisation, we have a big digital focus. That means we’ve spent lots of time and effort joining our systems up and are starting to really use our data to make business decisions. So, having everything in our payroll and HR systems running well is very visible and very important.

Reporting to our Digital and Improvement Lead, this role will focus on getting the everyday payroll and systems work done, including resolving issues that won’t always be straight forward. You’ll be involved in everything from payroll processing through to managing the production of monthly HR reports and taking responsibility for some systems processes.

By doing this job well, you’ll give our team the capacity to push forward with new projects and develop improvements we know will make a difference to the people in our business, and ultimately improve the service our residents receive.

**Hybrid working**: Please note this is a London based role at our office in Kings Cross. In this role you’ll be working closely with colleagues across two teams, so will need to be able to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

We’ll develop you in this role and understand that you may not have both payroll and HR systems administration experience. So, we will need you to already have experience of working _either _in a payroll role, _or _in a HR role where you’ve developed a good understanding of your organisation’s HR systems. You’ll need to be good with numbers and be comfortable working with large volumes of data in reporting.

**Mandatory**
- _(Either) _Experience of working in a busy payroll function _(or) _a HR/HR systems or reporting function in a medium to large organisation. Experience of working with HR system(s).
- _(Either)_ Basic to intermediate understanding of current payroll legislation and payroll cycle _(Or) _Basic to intermediate understanding of key HR issues and legislation
- Experience of running and working with people _or _payroll reports
- Great numeracy and strong Excel skills

**Desirable**
- Experience of working with any of the following systems: iTrent, Tribepad, Cornerstone, PowerBI, Business Objects
