Contract Duration - 3 Months

Role Overview:
Trigon Recruitment are supporting a well established National Charity who have been supporting vulnerable persons in the areas of homelessness and substance misuse for the last 40 years. The Recovery Co-Ordinator role is a pivotal role in supporting prisoners complete inductions, support with initial triage assessments and comprehensive assessments. This role will be operating in an around the Durham area.

Role responsibilities:

- Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey;
- Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral;
- Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community;
- Promoting carer, service user and community involvement;
- Providing advocacy for access to partnership services;
- Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self determination

Essential Criteria
- You will have knowledge, experience and understanding of the needs and support required for all clients within treatment systems.
- Have strong leadership skills
- Have a good awareness of local support services
- Working knowledge of drug and alcohol treatment and housing related issues.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract

**Salary**: Up to £26,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
