Are you ready to embark on a thrilling journey into the dynamic world of Information Technology? Look no further We are looking for an aspiring IT Apprentice to kick start their dream career.

As an apprentice you will be tasked with, responding to support requests and assisting in troubleshooting any problems, installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at user level, provide onsite and remote support to users of multi-site business and much more You will be fully immersed in the world of IT and given all the tools to build a long and successful career in the industry

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician Qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

**A Typical Day in the Job**:

- Respond to support requests and assist in troubleshooting any problems that arise using the helpdesk ticket system
- Take ownership of helpdesk tickets and make sure they are resolved in a quick and efficient manner
- Provide exceptional customer service support striving to achieve first time resolution
- Maintain computer network, system and hardware documentation for colleagues to reference
- Daily checks on customer consumables and order as appropriate
- Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level
- Provide onsite and remote support to user of multi-site business
- Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

**Salary, Hours** **&** **Benefits**:

- £13,000-£14,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
- Company T-Shirt will be provided, T-Shirt must be worn during work hours with smart trousers/jeans
- On-site car park
- Access to company car (dependant on role)
- Fuel expenses
- 20 days annual leave

**Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge**:

- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Adaptable approach and able to work under own initiative
- Desire to expand on your existing knowledge and skills
- Full UK driving licence would be an advantage
- Grade 4/C in Maths and English GCSE or Functional Skills L2
