Plant Nursery Worker

Tamar Nurseries is a growing company with over 40 years’ experience in growing a wide range of trees & shrubs in various sizes and formations ranging from 2L pots all the way through to 25/30cm girth trees. We supply these to local authorities, landscapers and architects. We are proud to be accredited members of the Horticultural Trades Association, supplying plants to the Nursery Certification Scheme Standards and in accordance with the National Plant Specification.

We have recently moved to our brand-new site with all new facilities. This includes a state of the art glass house, a water recycling irrigation system and new electric equipment including JCB & tractors which has helped us achieve Carbon Neutral status, which we are working hard to continue.

This is a physically demanding role that will include packing and labelling orders for our valued clients, this will require good attention to detail. Other duties will include general nursery maintenance such as quality checks, pruning, watering and potting. You will also be required to help load and unload lorries.

Overtime required when busy.

Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 5pm.
