Accounts Administrator/bookkeeper

We are looking for an accounts administrator with a strong focus on bookkeeping who is preferably experienced working with a service based company to support our small-office team based in Woodingdean. We are well established within the security and life-safetysystems industry with over 30 years of experience supporting our clients across the south-east of England. We hope that the right applicant will enjoy working as part of our friendly office team and assisting them with various admin duties.
**Tasks to include**:
- Daily accounts/bookkeeping
- VAT reconciliation
- Year end reports
- Sending statements and chasing payment of invoices
- Stock reports and maintenance of stock levels
- Dealing with stock in/out (sending/receiving parcels)
- Updating stock prices on Sage and our customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Creating/updating customers and site details on CRM software, job creation and allocation and ordering/allocation of stock required for jobs
- Producing/updating asset lists for our customers to be recorded on our CRM software.
- Dealing with equipment returns (RMAs) and repairs/supply only orders for customers
- Fleet management (arranging vehicle insurance, tax,break-down cover, MOTs, services, repairs etc)
- Administration of engineer calls and service visits using in-house customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Various other administrative duties as required.
**The successful applicant will**:
- Posess a good working knowledge of Sage accounting software
- Be IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, Outlook
- Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Possess great attention to detail
- Be confident working as part of a small team with varied job roles as well as using their own initiative
Hours: 9am - 5pm five days a week
