**Forth Valley College are looking to recruit for the following position**:
**Assessor - Work Based (Engineering)**

Based at Falkirk Campus/Hybrid Working (some travel will be also be required)

Fixed Term to October 2025 / Full time

£31,351 to £35,067 Annually

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain excellent communication and IT skills to effectively manage interactions and documentation.
- Exhibit a strong passion for professional discipline, with an ability to work under tight deadlines and independently manage workload.
- Participate actively as a member of the engineering assessment team, contributing to the continuous improvement of assessment processes and practices.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Proven, relevant, and up-to-date industry practice in Instrument and Control/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in the oil and gas sector and engineering environments.
- Exceptional communication and IT skills.
- A genuine enthusiasm for mentoring and skill development within the engineering field.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively manage personal workload.
- Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for frequent and extensive travel.

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- A recognised Assessor and/or Verifier qualification, or the willingness to work towards obtaining these qualifications.
