Learning Support Assistants - Ipswich

Due to the growth of our Study Programme at WS Training, we are looking for incredible people to join our amazing team. Our Supported Learning Centre is very warm, welcoming and friendly, in addition to providing a safe, inclusive environment for all learners to feel valued and make outstanding progress in their learning.

Any previous experience of working with young people with learning needs would obviously be an advantage but is not a requirement as we provide training and support, our current LSAs come from a range of experiences and backgrounds. Enthusiasm and commitment are as important as experience

You will provide high quality support for young people/adults with varying learning disabilities, autism, mental health and/or behaviours that challenge.

Within this rewarding role you will
- Support young people in and out of the classroom. Working towards qualifications and life skills, alongside the tutors and our student support team.
- Recognise and celebrate what the person can do for themselves
- Help students to learn the skills they need to live the life they choose
- Creating positive relationships
- Maintain dignity and respect at all times
- Engage in recreational activities, such as forestry, hospitality and sports - enhancing the lives of those we support/or work with.
