We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Service Advisor on behalf of our Clients Main Dealership in Letchworth.
Job Role:
This is a dual franchise site so the role is very different on a day-to-day basis, you will be the main point of contact for their customers.
Our Service Advisors are an integral part of our business, and one of the most important customer facing roles across the business. Building a rapport with our customers is a must, this in turn builds loyalty, customers return time and time again.
Service Advisors assist in the forward planning of the workshop, so being able to use your initiative is a must.
You will keep our customer updated at every stage on the progress of their vehicle, and ensure we meet the customer lead timescales.
Your work completed must be recorded and correctly updated on the system, customers must be notified of any additional work required. You will also be required to check vehicles coming through the service department.
Job Requirements:
Previous experience of working within an automotive service department is preferred, although not essential, as full training on operating systems will be provided.
Having brand knowledge or having worked for a Main Dealership previously would be an advantage.
You will be patient and a good listener, with outstanding communications skills both in person and on the telephone.
You will also be computer literate with knowledge of MS Office packages.
My client is looking for committed individuals who can work independently, multitask, and achieve deadlines.
You will need to have a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, a passion for the automotive industry.
Basic Salary:
£26,000/£28,000 Per Annum
Working Hours: 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday
Alternate Saturdays: 8am -12:30pm
