We are delighted to be working with them to find a key individual to fulfil the role of a Buyer for their team in Bath.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Creating Framework agreements and identifying pre-existing applicable Frameworks for areas of expenditure.
- Continuously monitor and review Framework markets and relevant commodities to stay informed with the latest commercial trends and supplier movements.
- Review and challenge existing Frameworks and associated policies/processes to ensure they are compliant and fit for purpose in providing exceptional customer service and accurately record and track procurement and payment processing.
- To optimise Framework value, prevent value leakage and facilitating continuous service improvement plans.
- Conduct Framework reviews and provide transparency on stakeholder satisfaction, supply chain performance, financial management and Framework compliance.
- Provide detailed management information and analysis on all Framework categories.
- Analyse overall category performance.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers to effectively manage contracts and performance in line with Business needs.
- To act as the conduit link between supplier and internal customers for all issues/queries relating to supply of goods, faulty goods, returns and service failures.
- Working with colleagues across the company in ensuring compliance with the Company Procurement rules and Utilities Contract Regulations.
- Attend meetings, visit sites as appropriate to fully understand the requirements and objectives of the business areas.
- Promote the use of Framework Agreements within the company.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply qualification.
- Working towards membership of CIPS or equivalent qualification.
- Working knowledge of regulated procurement.
- Understanding of utilities and remedies EU Directives.
- Understanding of Contract rules and procurement procedures.
- Supply chain(s) appropriate to the internal customer base.
- Understanding of company operational systems and processes.
