**Job Purpose**

To ensure the effective delivery of the Association’s planned maintenance programmes to a high standard whilst promoting and developing the principles of collaborative working and at the same time ensuring a customer focused service.

**What will you do?**

Act as the central point of contact between the Maintenance Department, Pobl staff and residents for planned maintenance and major works contracts.

Undertake detailed surveys and identification of building defects. Preparation of specifications, contract documentation and tender evaluations. Contract award and subsequent management through to final account.

To be aware of the implications of any planned maintenance work relating to service contracts and liaise with the service contracts manager regarding any issues with the delivery of this area of the service.

Provide technical support to residents, scheme staff and others within Pobl.

In respect of personal safety, awareness of the company “Health and Safety Policy” ensuring familiarisation with existing risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Experience working within maintenance in either a contractor or client role.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
- Contractor/supplier performance management skills, to ensure effective delivery of programmes of work.
- Full driving licence

**Key Information**

This a 37 hour, permanent role.

The annual salary for this role is £35,946
