Breakfast Supervisor

Job Introduction
Heritage Portfolio are actively seeking a Breakfast Supervisor to supervise the Food and Beverage operations within the stunning Dundas Castle, South Queensferry.

Dundas Castle in Edinburgh is the most spectacular venue for events. Whether it is a wedding, a corporate event or a family celebration, the variety of buildings, impressive rooms and 17 bedrooms all ‘under one roof’ will provide our guests with a stay that is truly unique.

It exudes sophistication and luxury but delivers it with the warmth and comfort of a family home. From incentive dinners for top achievers, to large product launches and, of course, the most romantic weddings, Dundas Castle can offer it all, and our managers ensure our guests leave with magical memories that will last a lifetime.

Main Responsibilities
Lots to do, but lots of fun
- To ensure that expectations are exceeded at all times in all areas of F&B to a five start standard
- To support the operational teams in delivering exceptional standards in this area
- Remaining hands on within this this busy venue overseeing Breakfast and supporting with operational set ups for weddings and events
- To work as part of a team and to constantly evaluate, train and improve the experience of our guests
- To support the SOP’s for your area that can form a training manual for new recruits.
- Establish and maintain effective employee relations across departments and within the venue client
- Attend regular team meetings ensuring a strong and clear flow of communication at all times
- Proven supervisory experience showing leadership, organisation and engagement
- Able to communicate effectively through written and verbal forms of communication
- Ability to make an excellent first impression, be proactive, able to multitask, numerate and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced service driven environment
- High standards of personal presentation
- Experience in hospitality is desired
