**Contract**:Permanent

**Hours**: 39 hours per week

As a Support Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Providing round-the-clock care and support to children and young people in our residential facility.
- Creating a safe and supportive environment where children can develop their skills, independence, and self-confidence.
- Building positive relationships with the children and young people in your care, offering emotional support and guidance.
- Implementing individual care plans and educational programs tailored to each child's needs.
- Participating in team meetings and collaborative efforts to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.

**Requirements**:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- A compassionate and patient nature.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including sleep-ins.
- A commitment to the welfare and well-being of children and young people.
- Must be a driver, as you are required to transport the young people from time to time.
