We are looking for a deli assistant to work in our store. We require a hard working, self motivated individual, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare food for customers while maintaining quality and accuracy in the process
- Answer customer questions or concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Stock fridges and maintain cleanliness of the department
- Assist with receiving stock
- Work as a team member with other deli associates to ensure store runs smoothly and effectively with mínimal issues
- Other tasks as assigned by management

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in retail or food service is preferred but not required. We will train the right person
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £10.42 per hour
