We have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Administrator with advanced Excel skills to join our Procurement team on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a fast paced and diverse role where no two days are the same

As an Administrator you will assist in managing and delivering all aspects of strategic sourcing on a designated range of direct and indirect spend projects.You will be target driven and will support the function to achieve its annual allocated savings target. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience of the buying process, working closely with the Buyer and Procurement & SRM Manager to run end to end tenders.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Working with Procurement and Facilities teams to identify savings opportunities (product standardisation, supplier rationalisation, etc.)
- Maintain Contracts database
- Produce reports from Excel data and make them presentable to their intended audience
- Develop communication materials relating to category strategy for presentation to key internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Help to develop tender documentation package
- Assist in executing end to end tendering process and manage supplier queries with relevant Buyer support (escalate critical issues to relevant Managers)
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- If required support both Buyer and Procurement & SRM Manager in supplier negotiations, including writing up meeting notes
- Ensure category spend, supplier management and contract databases are kept updated
- Ensure pricing accuracy in information systems

**To be successful you will have**:

- Advanced skills in MS Excel - e.g. V look ups, creating reports, manipulating data
- Excellent organisational skills for day to day workload
- Ability to work within timescales and to deadlines
- A keen eye for detail
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Great communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to work well within a tight team
- A self-starter attitude and ability to use own initiative
- A driver's licence and access to a car

**Salary**: £21,300.00-£23,000.00 per year
