**The Financial Manager role**:
As our client’s **Financial Manager**, your purpose is to manage reposting and forecasting. You will ensure that monthly standards reports and forecasts are produced that provide all stakeholders with a clear and informed analysis of the organisationsfinancial position and the key drivers behind current and future the results. You will assist in the budgeting and reforecasting processes.

Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required, ensure systems, processes and management information are developed and maintained that help ensure staff utilisation is well managed.

Working in conjunction with all budget holders to ensure they receive the financial information, analysis and advice they need to manage their budgets, you will be undertaking the role of Project Manager for specific developments. A vital part of your roleis to drive and develop a culture of continual improvement both within the team and wider organization.

**Responsibilities as our client’sFinancial Manager** **will involve**:

- Continually developing and producing the organisations reporting and forecasting in line with the agreed timetable
- Providing supplementary analysis as requested
- Helping in the production of the annual budget in conjunction with budget holders and three year financial projections in line with the organisations business plan
- Ensuring that all budget holders and managers have a clear understanding of their responsibilities for financial management and are fully supported in undertaking this responsibility
- Co-ordinating and managing the production of detailed quarterly forecasts and to develop financial reporting systems that enable budgetary control to be undertaken against these
- Improving the organisations cash reporting and forecasting on a short and long term basis
- Holding monthly financial performance review meetings with the relevant Directors
- Developing budgetary control reports that that provide all budget holders with a clear and easily understood financial analysis for their service or department
- Ensuring that donor reporting is undertaken efficiently and effectively
- Producing the financial information required by social finance organisations is produced in line with their requirements and that returns are maximised

**Requirements to become our client’sFinancialManager**:

- Hold a CCAB financial qualification
- Experience in all technical areas of operation
- Experience of using accounting systems, advanced Excel skills and up-to-date use of VisionXL
- Demonstrable record of innovation both delivering and enhancing systems and procedures
- Experience of successfully developing a finance function during a period of organisational growth and delivering finance training
- Collegiate and supportive working style and approach
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience of project management and change management approaches
- Experience of staff management and a proven track record of staff development
- Open and supportive working and management style with a customer led approach
