Lichfield, United Kingdom Autosmart International Full time

It’s an exciting time to join Autosmart. The UK’s number 1 supplier to the trade, we have expanded globally into export markets including Ireland, France, Australia, Germany, and the Netherlands, with plans to grow our coverage by 29% in the next 3 years. To support this growth, not only have we invested £25million in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, but also an additional £1 million in our new ERP system (IFS), launching in July 2023, and we are looking for an Application Support Specialist to become our IFS Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Experience gained through a business support role, either as an ERP Super User (i.e., IFS, Epicor), or during ERP implementations, where you have become a functional leader or point of contact for a specific business area, e.g., Operations, Finance, or HR, will enable you to hit the ground running in this newly created, high-profile position.

As IFS SME, you will operate at 2nd / 3rdline level, handling escalations and liaising with external support providers. You will have a strongly customer-focused approach and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the business.

**The role**:

- Working with the Service and Operations Manager, you will ensure that the IFS support structure is fit for purpose, driving IFS optimisation, and working with external IFS specialists as necessary to maximise Autosmart’s return on investment, developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and leading continuous improvement projects
- Act as a liaison between Autosmart and third line support organisations
- Provide coaching and training on IFS as required, curating company-wide support documentation

**You will**:

- Have spent a minimum of 12 months contributing to the implementation or support of IFS (or equivalent ERP system)
- Have operational experience within the manufacturing sector, with demonstrable knowledge of workflows and processes

**We offer**:

- Salary - we’re open to discussion
- Permanent contract of employment within a supportive and friendly team
- A varied and autonomous role with a financially stable business
- Companywide training programme to develop key skills
- 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
- Non-contributory private health care and critical illness cover
- Generous contributory pension scheme
- Life insurance at three times salary
- Employee assistance programme
- Staff purchase scheme - take home products for FREE

If you are looking for an exciting and varied role, have demonstrable ERP implementation experience, and want to work for a market leading organisation, with the opportunity to develop, work as part of a great team, and make a difference every day, then we really look forward to hearing from you.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: One location
