This is a part-time role which will be** **two days** a week (Tuesday-Wednesday).

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Assist the deputy editor and researcher in maintaining the Asset Allocator databases, liaising closely with our researcher based in Manila to ensure the databases are correctly updated
- Use the Asset Allocator databases to come up with story ideas on collaboration with the Asset Allocator deputy editor and contributing editor
- Build contacts within the UK wealth management sector to help promote Asset Allocator and unearth interesting trends and stories
- Liaise with the Asset Allocator team on developing the databases and the product itself
- Occasionally take part in the presenting or production of the Asset Allocator Podcast, and assist with any Asset Allocator events where necessary

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**Qualifications/Competencies/Skills/Experience**
- Track record of producing high-quality journalism
- Good knowledge of investments and the UK asset and wealth management markets
- Keen eye for detail and legal knowledge relating to journalism
- An ability to work with data and spreadsheets, and come up with ideas for data visualisations. Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Flourish is helpful but not necessary.
- Excellent communication skills with internal colleagues, external partners and readers
- Experience of appearing on and producing podcasts is not required but will be looked on favourably.
