**Commercial Contracts Consultant - Freelance**

Working for a client-focused on reviewing and amending commercial contracts for frameworks for bidding and pre-award status within the Rail sector.

**Location: -** London

**Duration**: - 6 Months

Working 3 days per week as a consultant hence outside IR35.

**Day Rate**: - £600 - £750 per day (OUTSIDE IR35)

**Role Description**

The Resolute Group have been retained to secure a Commercial Contract professional that works in the Rail sector and used to handling large contracts. From reviewing the contracts for the initial framework award through to the supply of services, makingsure that the terms are acceptable. Helping the leadership team negotiate the contract terms with both clients and counterparties if not acceptable.

Although a 6-month contract for the initial framework award to support the procurement and contractual set up this may be extended to a 1-year contract. With more frameworks and tenders being completed at present this opportunity could extend to other projectsthat are awarded.

This role is there to review and ensure the contract is compliant with the client's requirements but also take it through to the successful contract signing following the award. Working as part of the leadership you're a consultant that supports the internalteam and in effect, a quality assurance role, double checking the work and ensuring it gives the organisation and their client the best possible terms / agreement.

The team have individuals covering the Commercial, Procurement & legal functions of the contract. This is more about having a Consultant that comes from a contractual background and understanding the commercial and procurement elements and the legislationaround them. Working in partnership with the other areas of the business to ensure a fully compliant contract is signed and agreed to.

This role would be ideal for a consultant operating (be it past or present) in various rail organisations such as:

- Network Rail
- Train Operators
- Rail Manufacturing
- Consultancies

**Qualifications / Experience**
- HNC / HND / Degree to support your experience in Rail Contractual management.
- Previous experience of reviewing or creating Commercial contracts within the Rail sector
- Worked on large contracts ideally high-value, complex or framework based.
