Working alongside the management team as the Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant you will have the opportunity to prioritise a varied and busy workload across Accounts and various other business areas.
- As the Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for processing purchase ledger invoices.
- Responsible for exporting sales invoices and supporting credit control activities.
- Processing and checking of production paperwork and managing sample paperwork to ensure it is stored and archived correctly.
- Processing customer statements, posting nominal journals and processing payments.
- As the Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for checking and processing Company Payroll, PAYE, National Insurance, Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay, etc.
- Supporting with stock checks, stock levels and raising PO's for any stock requirements.
**Essential Requirements**:
- Previous experience within either administration or accounts administration.
- Previous experience using Sage50 Payroll/Accounts
- High attention to detail.
**Desirable Traits**:
- Ability to communicate with people on all levels.
- Be able to work in a busy and vibrant office environment.
- Competent with IT packages including Word and Excel with the ability to create basic formulas.
- Well-organised with the ability to prioritise.
This role would suit people who also have the following experience: finance administration, administration assistant, accounts administration.
**Hours**: Negotiable Monday to Friday, 22.5 hours to 37.5 hours per week,
**Salary**:£10.30 per hour pro rata per annum.
**Job Type**: Permanent
**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
