**Role**:Senior Volunteer Coordinator**

**Salary**:Circa £21,80O per annum, pro rata**

**Contract/Hours: Permanent Part-time 25 hrs per Week (**Working Monday -Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm.)**

**Location: Padleigh Hill**, Bath**

At Bath West Children's Centre Services, we provide family support and groups to families with children up to the age of 5 years. We work closely with the local community to deliver services that meet their specific needs.

**A bit about the role**

This role is to recruit, train and supervise volunteers within the Children's Centre Service. We are hoping to develop a volunteer home visiting programme to support families that are already engaged with the service to support the interventions of the family support practitioners.

**How you'll help to create brighter futures**.

As** **a Senior Volunteer Coordinator,** **you will** **Co-ordinate the safer recruitment, induction, training, and supervision of volunteers, ensuring they are well equipped to carry out their roles competently and confidently.
- Recruitment training and ongoing support of volunteers.
- Managing the referral assessing the risk and supporting families with young children
- Promote the service using all forms of communication including social media to referrers and young people who could use the service.

**Let's talk about you.**
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent training qualification or experience
- Experience of working with vulnerable young people and families
- Experience of managing and supervising volunteers or other workers
- Experience of delivering training
- Experience of assessing and managing risk in relation to safeguarding and health and safety concerns
- IT Literate including some knowledge of excel.
