**Location**:
Working Remotely
& Travel to Ipswich Office 2 times a month
**About the Role:
**An experienced Database Administrator to sit within the DevOps team as a specialist in Databases On-Prem and in the cloud.

You will be supporting existing solutions on Oracle, MySQL and MSSQL.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Maintain Customer Workloads -**Ensure our data platforms are running with minimum downtime and optimal performance.
- **Building Customer Solutions -**Support pre-sales teams in data platform design for the Oracle, MySQL and MSSQL workloads.

**Experience**:

- MySQL replication technologies.
- Oracle Database 10g and above.
- 2-3 years experience working with on AWS RDS.
- Oracle RAC, Apex and Data Guard.
- Working with other database engines (e.g. MySQL, MSSQL).
- Working knowledge of Cloud concepts.
- Working knowledge of "ITIL".
- Working knowledge of "Agile".
- Strong documentation skills.
- Aware of backup strategies.
- Great problem solving & fault-finding skills.
