Estimator/Junior Estimator

This vacancy will offer an exciting and rewarding opportunity to become part of the Sutcliffe Play brand which includes the largest employee-owned UK play equipment manufacturer in the industry.

Main duties:

- Assessment and interpretation of design briefs and associated documentation
- Creation of 2D CAD plans and associated costings
- Liaise closely with the main contacts and continuously review details of play area design requests so they can be accurately processed.

Mandatory requirements:

- A Level qualifications (minimum)
- A good working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Computer literate (Microsoft packages)
- A good attention to detail, interpreting design briefs and cost analysis
- Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team

The position may suit college leavers and graduates, those looking to start a career in design/estimating and live close to Upton/Pontefract. Depending on skill set and experience, this may start as a junior role and full training will be given with the aim of becoming a full Estimator in due course.

Our Play Area Designers also use the following software/undertake the following additional tasks and this could form part of the structured training programme in the future depending on education background/skill set and the demands of the business:

- 3D Studio Max
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Graphic Design

Full time working hours are 36.25 hours per week. 8.30 am - 4.30pm.

Salary £19,000 - £24,000, depending on experience/skill set

(Starting salary dependant on qualifications and skill set/experience but training will be given)
