**XS10.4 Classroom Teaching Assistant - Permanent Role in Mixed Year 3 & Year 4 Class**

**14 hours per week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings 8.30am to 12 noon**

**Grade 5 SCP 5 - 6**

**+ Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant for 1 ¼ hrs on Mondays**

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant in our mixed Year 3 / Year 4 Class who is flexible, enthusiastic, has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to engage learners.

The role will include:

- supporting in class delivering specific programmes of intervention
- supporting pupils in their learning
- liaising with teachers to ensure that work is appropriate for the pupils
- holding high expectations of all pupils
- supporting the team in all aspects of preparation and delivery of classroom learning

Keeping Children Safe in Education

The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
