In joining RWS’s Finance team you will be a critical part of supporting a listed world-leading provider of technology-enabled language, content, and intellectual property services. **Job Purpose**

RWS is recruiting a Head of Treasury who will assume responsibility for a range of corporate treasury projects, ranging from cashflow forecasting, cash management, treasury operations, FX and treasury risk management.

You will report to the Group Financial Controller and work within the wider treasury team to execute treasury activities and deliver process improvements which are critical to the strategy of RWS.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Overseeing the management of the Group’s day-to-day treasury operation to meet regulatory and internal requirements
- Optimising the deployment of excess capital and liquidity to meet expected risk and return profiles
- Manage the day-to-day multi-currency treasury investment portfolios, across money market funds and bank deposits
- Assessing and streamlining the Group’s bank account footprint and proposing ways to implement improvements
- Producing short
- and medium-term cash flow forecasting to support decision making on cash investments
- Working with Group Finance to ensure operations and risk management follow Group Policies & Procedures
- Establish and embed new processes and procedures for the Treasury function that can be rolled out across the wider group, including the centralisation of divisional treasury teams.
- Working closely with other departments including the Audit, Financial Accounting and Regulatory Reporting teams, and the wider business

**Skills & Experience**
- 8+ years’ experience in a treasury function
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business-related discipline
- Strong English Language skills
- AMCT Qualified (preferred)
- Previous experience and strong understanding of treasury management practices within a corporate environment, particularly in developing and implementing treasury processes and controls
- Strong analytical mindset with a “hands on/ can do” approach
- Good interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of management
- 1-2 years of people management experience with the ability to effectively direct and prioritise work of others
- Excellent attention to detail, commitment to accuracy and quality
