Paediatric Complex Support Worker

Newark On Trent

£13.60- £14.10 per hour

COVID Vaccination essential

Driver's preferred but not essential

About Us:
At Yorhealth we provide care for children and young adults with complex care needs. You will be working in the family home. This role is to work with a baby boy who is 8 months old. He has bronchomalacia and has a tracheotomy ventilated 24 hours a day. He lives at home with his mum, dad, older sister and dog. He likes playing with musical toys and watching cocomelon

We are looking for someone who is:

- Warm and friendly who has a passion for young people’s wellbeing and have a caring and patient nature.
- An understanding of the developmental and educational needs of children and young people
- Current Clinical Competence is advantageous to include tracheostomy experience, but not essential as full training will be provided.
- An NVQ level 2 or above in the relevant area is desirable.

We are looking for staff who can work nights and days around the hours of 23.00-07.00/09.00 and 07.00-17.00. We can offer full or part time hours. If this sounds like you then please do get in touch.

Pay: £13.60-£14.10 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Tracheostomy: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
