**About Our Client**:
Page Personnel are working with a market leading Manufacturing business, based in Stockport, recruiting a Buying Assistant to join their Procurement Team.

As a Buying Assistant, you will report into the Procurement Manager, responsible for managing the end to end buying process, ensuring the accurate ordering process through from start to finish.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: negotiate procurement from the UK and Europe; attend daily procurement update meetings to commute deliveries due; assessment and sourcing of high quality products and supplies; managing the supply of materials against requirements; monitor invoicing procedures; negotiation of material costs, payment terms; record and update relevant documents and systems with accurate product information.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
- Have knowledge of managing and negotiating with multiple suppliers - Essential
- Have excellent attention to detail - Essential
- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Office - Essential
