We are looking to fill a newly created Payroll Coordinator/Accounts Assistant role, which we require in order to support our continued growth of the business.

Cawingredients employ 370+ employees and now require an experienced Payroll coordinator to process the end to end monthly payroll.

Typical duties will include:

- Administer Accurate Records for new starters and leavers and maintain shift patterns and departmental changes.
- Maintain payroll records - NI, TAX, Student Loan and Pension Contributions
- Calculate SSP, SMP, SPP, Court Deductions, Sickness Deductions and Salary Changes
- Liaison with HMRC e.g. Monthly Downloads, PAYE Reconciliation, RTI Submissions
- Liaison with Pension Providers e.g. Contribution Changes, Pension Re-Enrolment, Pension Reconciliation
- Administration of any IR35 Off Payroll Workers
- Monthly Distribution of Staff Wages via BACS/Auto Payslips, Complete Monthly Period Updates
- Process Monthly Payroll Records to the Financial Accounts Ledgers and reconcile ledgers on a monthly basis
- Monthly Overtime recording and processing
- Year End Payroll Closure Process and Issue P60 Tax Forms
- Develop Processes and Procedures to follow Current Regulations and Future Business Needs
- Respond and Resolve Queries from Employees and Management Relating to payroll
- Review Weekly Agency Invoices/Costs
- Maintain Childcare Voucher Scheme
- Payrolling Employee Benefits
- Assist During Yearly External Audits (KPMG)
- Complete National Statistics Returns
- Maintaining digital and physical filing systems for financial and monthly payroll information
- Liaise with other employees, managers and external stakeholders as required to ensure data is processed and information is available in time for monthly payroll processing
- Gender Pay Gap Data Collation

This position would suit someone who had previous experience in a similar role, who will be able to hit the ground running.

Applicants must have a good educational background and have previously completed a Payroll Processing formal qualification (CIPP, or equivalent).
