Care in Mind are a healthcare company operating throughout the Northwest and Yorkshire providing residential services for young people aged 16-25 years old. Our aim is to support the young people using a therapeutic, least restrictive approach to live ina non-secure community setting and to achieve their individual goals in preparation for transition to adult life.

Due to company expansion, we have a new and exciting opportunity for a Head of Technology and Estatesto join our friendly and professional team. The role is hybrid and is based from Stockport with travel across our services in the Northwest and Yorkshire.

**About the role**

This is a new role where you will be responsible for the complete management and performance monitoring of the Technology and Estates Service. It is a role where you will have the opportunity to create a real impact in growing company and a fast-paced environment.The key elements of your role will include;
- Supporting in the production of a comprehensive Technology and Estates Strategy and its implementation.
- To attend monthly and quarterly Operations and Governance meetings ensuring key reporting data is provided for the meetings and any actions are put in place following the meeting
- Leading on all statutory and regulatory compliance, Asbestos management, Water Hygiene management including Legionella and Pseudomonas control management, Building, Electrical, Mechanical and in house vehicle fleet.
- Set and ensure adherence of SLAs and OLAs.
- Carrying out inspections of the residential homes to ensure the team are meeting timescales and deadlines are met.
- Provide effective project management duties to ensure that projects are delivered to the required specification within the agreed cost and time limits, from inception through to completion, using appropriate project management techniques.
- To line manage the Technology and Estates team ensuring supervisions and appraisals are conducted, training needs are addressed, and performance concerns are managed effectively.
- Ensuring the Technology services to the business are aligned to ITIL best practise.
- Liaison with Local Planning Authorities on specific planning matters.
- To ensure the company maintains its compliance with the NHS Data Security regulations.

**About you**
- Have previous Technology and Estates management experience
- Successful leader with experience of managing high performing teams
- Previous experience of multi-site operations
- Previous experience in managing a service delivery function
- Experience of implementing and managing ITSM tools and approaches across multiple teams and organisational levels
- Experience in dealing with and analysing complex data across different systems
- Experience in leading the successful implementation and adoption of ITIL aligned Service Management
- Operating within a similar role within the NHS or Healthcare would be advantageous but not essential
