Whyte Matter Staffing Solutions are proud to be recruiting on behave our Client. Our client is looking for HR Advisor to join their confectionary company. The role will be based in Newtownards Co. Down. The HR Advisor will be responsible for a variety of HR generalist tasks to support the delivery of a professional HR service to the Newtownards and Bromley sites and Group Projects as required. The role will be responsible for providing administrative and advisory support in the following areas: Recruitment & Selection, Induction, Training & Development, Employee Engagement & Relations, HR Policies & Processes, HR Systems & Projects. The role will support the HR team to deliver the people strategy plans in alignment with the objective of the division and wider business.

**Accountabilities**:

- Support and advise on HR related queries, liaising with HR team/HRBP/HR Manager as appropriate.
- Support recruitment activities from developing job descriptions, liaising with recruitment agencies, coordinating interviews and representing the HR department on interview panels, working closely with the appropriate manager throughout the process.
- Prepare offer paperwork and welcome packs, arrange departmental inductions for new employees and deliver HR inductions.
- Guide managers on disciplinary and grievance makers, ensuring the relevant policy and process is adhered to, providing administrative support with letters/note‐taking and maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Assist the wider team with organisational design/development activities e.g. revision of job descriptions, reissuing of terms and conditions.
- Maintain the accurate administration of HR related documentation and personnel files, ensuring all are documents retained/deleted in adherence to the Company’s GDPR policy and procedure.
- Support the HR team and Monitoring Officer to complete Equality Commission monitoring requirements by collecting monitoring information for applicants and entering data into the HR system.
- Undertake administrative activities linked to the employee lifecycle e.g. posting offer packs, pro‐ cessing invoices, creating personnel files, creating internal notices, generating addendums to terms and conditions etc.
- support the HR team and Training and Development Co‐Ordinator in achieving ongoing/new accreditation of internal/external audits by ensuring compliance to any relevant standards and excellent record keeping of relevant documents.
- Assist in the implementation, maintenance and updating of HR‐related systems including the running of reports as required including working with other Group HR colleagues and across site projects.
- Collect and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including but not limited to: HR or time and attendance systems, management/employee surveys, exit interviews etc
- Continuously seek to improve HR processes, across the Group, through sharing ideas and assisting in improvement projects and training managers/team members on new processes.
- Act, alongside the HR & Payroll Team members, as a first point of contact for enquiries, and respond to or refer enquiries as appropriate.
- Act in a confidential and trustworthy manner always.
- Participate as a member of the HR team and in all local and Group HR activities when required.
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of self and others, ensuring compliance with safety regulations in area of responsibility, in line with all relevant Health and Safety legislation.
- Develop own performance by completing relevant learning and development activities.
- Responsible for own compliance with the Company’s Data Protection Policy Process.
- Must ensure that personal data is kept secure and processed in a lawful manner and that all activities relating to the handling and processing of ordinary personal data, and special cate‐ gory data, comply with Data Protection legislation.
