**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Digital Content Manager - Ostomy, the Digital Content Executive is responsible for supporting the Digital Content Manager in the execution of the digital content marketing strategy for the Global Ostomy & Wound business.

**KEY ACTIVITIES**

**Search**
- Support the management and implementation of a global SEO and PPC strategy to enable increased online visibility.
- Support the Digital Content Manager with ensuring all websites and content are fully optimised to enable maximum exposure, organic ranking growth and increased online brand awareness for the Ostomy business.
- Manage all offsite and onsite optimisation activity.
- Be responsible for identifying and conducting keyword research and utilising these within content to enable organic position growth.
- Report on search KPIs such as organic traffic, search engine rankings and other SEO aspects using Google Analytics and SEO Management platforms and provide recommendations based on performance data.

**Website**
- Maintain and execute minor updates, design and content uploads on all Ostomy websites, inclusive of eakin.eu, pelicanhealthcare.co.uk and respond.co.uk, in addition to relevant campaign microsites and localised versions.
- Working closely with the Digital Marketing team, ensure relevant new website content is promoted via our social media channels and develop new and innovative ways of driving traffic to the websites.
- Implement conversion rate optimisation activities and continually use in-depth data to analyse user behaviour to increase the site conversion rate and user experience.
- Alongside the Digital Content Manager, manage the day-to-day relationships with external web developers and be responsible for ensuring all technical SEO activities are executed effectively.
- Report on all website KPIs and provide recommendations based on performance data.

**Digital Marketing Funnel**

**Marketing General**
- Support the Digital Marketing Team - Ostomy on being experts regarding our competitor’s digital activity, and, where appropriate, adjust our digital marketing plan to capitalise on opportunities.
- Support the Head of Digital Marketing - Ostomy to ensure all digital marketing communications adhere to the data protection legislation.
- Work in close collaboration with the wider Global Ostomy Product & Marketing team in executing any online Education and Event activities such as webinars.
- Working closely with the Global Ostomy Marketing Team, ensure that the “look and feel” of our online presence has a consistent identity and tone of voice.

**KEY SKILLS**

**Essential**
- BSc/BA in relevant field
- Previous experience in a digital marketing role
- Experience in executing minor web development tasks using WordPress
- Strong data analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills

**Desirable**
- Professional qualifications / training in Digital Marketing
- Specific experience in Ostomy Care, Wound Care, Urology
- International experience
