**About the Role**

**Salary**: up to £71,600 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing, and family.
**Working Pattern**: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
Working in tandem with the Project Teams, the role ensures that project schedules are constructed and maintained to the appropriate level, are robust and have schedule integrity, and contain accurate updates to aid project management.
This key project role will also include monitoring of schedule performance and risk through regular programme meetings with Project Teams, assessing and developing options to mitigate schedule risks, and supporting the Project Manager to quantify the impact and mitigations of any delay or contractor early warnings and/or compensation events, for example.
**Role and Responsibilities will include**:
- Lead the Enterprise Planning team for a Sector or Portfolio of Major Projects, managing the Programme schedules (Primavera P6) ensuring clear, timely and accurate information is provided to Project Management, the Project Board and key stakeholders as required.
- Manage and develop project programme reporting outputs in line with project and portfolio management requirements. Ensure the accuracy of all programme reporting.
- Take a leading role in Schedule Risk Analysis, both through What-if scenario planning, and through use of quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis tools.
- Raise the profile of the project programme among the project team, ensuring key stakeholders are appraised of current programme position and the key interfaces and impacts related to their scopes.
- Co-ordinate Development of the detailed project Development and Execution programme, integrating Contractor schedules, internal Project Management, Financing and Engineering activities, and Regulatory/Consenting requirements, ensuring alignment with key project milestones and schedule drivers and accounting for interfaces between packages and scopes of work.
- Identify critical path for project and for sub packages, criticality of work scopes, and ensure that potential delays to critical activities are identified and mitigated.
**What we would love you to have**:
- Degree educated in engineering, science or a related field, or significant work experience in large scale infrastructure projects.
- Significant major Project Planning experience, working within large, multi-contract Engineering and Construction projects, including building fully integrated complex activity networks.
- Highly skilled user of Primavera P6 planning software. Skilled user of Microsoft Project.
- Experience in carrying out delay analysis and analysis of schedule implications of contractor claims.
- Experience in running what-if scenarios and schedule risk analysis.
