**Fleet Business Team Leader - Permanent**

**Grade 4 - Team Leader - Implements project activity or provision of specialised advice, supervises a small team, setting relevant objectives and supporting the development of the team.**

**Salary - From £34,000 per annum dependent on skills & experience + 10% annual **bonus**

**Hybrid working - Burgh Heath Epsom - 37.5 hours per week.**

**Key Requirements**
- Experience working within a finance house, insurance, banking or fleet operations environment.
- Knowledge and/or experience of developing and testing new procedures and working practices.
- Understanding of targets and the importance of meeting SLA's with the ability to communicate and understand different learning styles.

**Key responsibilities
- Carry out regular one to one review with the FBU Team identifying performance shortfalls and implementing remedial actions in conjunction with the Fleet Business Unit Manager.
- Ensure monthly meetings take place with the whole team and minutes are shared
- Identify training and development needs of team members and put appropriate action plans in place to deliver on these requirements using 1-1s and previews.
- Ensuring the Daily Bank Reconciliation is completed within a timely manner
- Acting as escalation point from the team/other departmental areas on Fleet Business Unit matters.
- Responsibility for ensuring Team delivers all work within Expected SLA and re-allocating resources where required to achieve deadlines. If deadlines aren’t going to be met, raising this with the FBU Manager with proposed countermeasures.
- To deputise for the Fleet Business Unit Manager when necessary and act responsibly in exercising that level of authority in Fleet Business related matters.
- Writing of clear concise and logical reports/documents as requested by management or customers.
- Using Ngage and Contract Management systems for quotations, proposals, document production, contract activation and in life contract management.
- Assist FBU Manager with low level credit-line arrears management.
- Ensure there are sufficient amounts of cover within the department at all times.
