Management Accountant

**Salary**: £40,000 - £45,000

Location: Gainsborough
Our client is a fast paced and growing business who are looking to add to the team with the recruitment of a Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a great team of people and make a difference in a values led organisation. Reportingto the FC you will provide financial insight into performance and implications of business decisions and proposals.
THE ROLE:
Production of monthly management accounts in line with the group timetable.
Monthly KPIs and variance analysis.
Present & discuss monthly results with business management.
Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth.
Support EBITDA improvement initiatives.
Annual budgeting and monthly forecast preparation.
Preparation of rolling 3-month cash flow forecast.
Provision of payroll information to external bureau.
Preparation of VAT returns.
Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Management and training of Finance Assistants.
Support plant management with the preparation/review of CapEx requests.
Support the year end audit process, liaising with the Financial Accountant and auditors as necessary.
Continual improvement of systems, processes, and procedures.
Responsible for ensuring accounting guidelines are applied.
Maintain financial controls in line with group requirements.
Perform other such duties of a similar nature as from time to time may be required including any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.
THE CANDIDATE:
You will a Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA) with a solid background gained in Finance. You will have excellent organisational skills, a diligent work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous but not essential.
