**NDT INSPECTOR REQUIRED GAINSBOROUGH, LINCOLNSHIRE. IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE, £15.77/HOUR**

Our client based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire are currently looking for a welding/NDT Inspector to start as soon as possible (starting early January.)

Please see below:
**Key responsibilities**:

- Carry out the roles/responsibilities as define in BSEN ISO14731.
- Ensure products (where applicable) comply to BSEN ISO15085 or BSEN ISO1090.
- Ensuring all new products/processes meet BSEN ISO3834 requirements, by supporting the project/manufacturing engineering team(s) & implement the appropriate processes to ensure existing products/process meet BSEN ISO3834 requirements. These are to be doneby:

- Setting up any traceability processes to meet specific customer requirements.
- Generate preliminary weld procedure specification & weld procedure specifications for the development projects & existing products.
- Facilitate the generation of weld procedure qualification records to comply with BSEN ISO15614/15613.
- Support the welder qualification process to comply with BSEN ISO9606-9.3a.
- Carry out non-destructive & destructive testing.
- Regularly auditing the relevant processes to ensure compliance to the relevant standards.
- To assist with any investigation activities, to be proactive and to deliver feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Undertake necessary, identified training by the company, to allow you to progress in this role and to train of any identified staff.
- Any other duties assigned in line with scope of role.

**Essential Key skills**:

- CSWIP weld inspector
- Ability to perform various NDT weld inspection methods (incl Dye Penetrant Testing/Visual Inspection/Macro Examination).
- Ability to read, analyse & interpret engineering drawings & update drawings to ensure compliance to BSEN ISO2553.
- Ability to create technical documentation and display good presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within teams and liaise across functions.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and techniques
- Ability to introduce new methods and ideas ensuring a continuous improvement ethos
- Demonstrates attention to detail through all stages of processes
- Can work and communicate effectively with others
