Trade Floor Support x 2 - Rates experience( eTrading is a huge bonus) - 6 moths rolling - Central London - Hybrid 3-2 set up - INSIDE IR35 via umbrella

Akkodis are working in partnership with one of the world leading investment banks who are seeking 2 experienced Trade Floor Support Engineers with Rates and ideally eTrading experience to join their current EMEA Front Office Support team with focus on Rates.

Title: - Trade Floor Support x 2

Location: - Central London

Office/Home: - 3 days in and 2 days WFH

Duration: - initially 6 months with potential 6 month extensions on offer.

Daily rate: - £450-500 (potentially neg) - INSIDE IR35 via an Umbrella.

**The key responsibilities / deliverables are as follows (but not limited to)**:

- First point of contact for end business users in Rates eTrading
- Ownership and delivery of on-boarding support of or processes into the MAPS organization
- Monitoring and alerting of critical trading system environments
- Troubleshooting of complex systems issues
- Proactive identification and resolution of problem hotspots
- Development of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements
- Accurate tracking of support effort to enable effective management reporting
- Release implementation and enforcement of change management policy
- Major Incident management and Problem Management

**Key Requirements**

The core set of technical skills that are beneficial in the role are:

- Operating systems: Linux primarily
- Scripting languages: Unix Shell, Python
- SQL (intermediate level: multi-table joins, grouping results, stored procedures)
- Job scheduling (Autosys) & batch management
- Well rounded understanding of infrastructure disciplines (network, server, storage, messaging)
- Enterprise Monitoring - ITRS Geneos
- Documentation (Confluence)
- Experience with exchange connectivity - e.g. ION MarketView and the main ECN's (Bloomberg, Tradeweb, MTS, etc)
- Familiarity with Bloomberg and Reuters
