**Complex Needs Teaching Assistant**
Qualiteach is currently working with a SEN School who is looking to take on a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant. You will be required to support 6-8 students with various SEN Needs throughout their time at school. This will include supporting them through theirlearning which will have a heavy focus around play, help plan and set up activities under the guidance of the class teacher, take students out of the class on a 1:1 basis to help them develop their reading and writing skills and supervise during breaktimes.Due to the students needs there will be an element of behaviour management and assisting students with eating, dressing and hygiene as and when required, whilst encouraging them to try and be independent. The ideal Complex Needs Teaching Assistant for thisrole must have had previous experience working in a SEN School or a similar setting and have a nurturing and fun way of working.
**SEN School**
This SEN School is located in the London Borough of Greenwich and caters for students aged between 11- 19 years with Specific Learning Difficulty, Speech, language and Communication, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Multi-Sensory Impairment, Physical Disability,Moderate Learning Difficulty, Severe Learning Difficulty and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulty. They currently have 230 students who attend and in their last Ofsted in December 2017, they were reviewed as 'Good' in all areas.
