**Position: Hard Services Manager (Electrical/ Mechanical Background)**

**Location: Andover (Single Site Depot)**

**Salary: £45,000.00 per annum+ On CALL Payment + Benefits (see below)**

**Hours: 40 hours per week**

**On Call Requirement: 1 week in every 4**

**Job purpose**:
This is a key position supporting in delivery of reactive & planned maintenance by providing technical assistance and support. This role will also depend on your ability to manage your client relationships. Ensuring good working relationships are maintainedand built upon.

The role is responsible for effectively leading and managing the teams to ensure reactive and planned works are completed to the highest standard and adhere to all regulatory standards. This role will also be responsible for overseeing all technical standards,development and support of training requirements within a busy depot environment.

All work will need to be completed in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid down Company Health and Safety policies.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Developing and promoting a culture of behavioural safety within the discipline, ensuring effective reporting and investigation of any potential hazards or near misses, incidents and accidents.
- Ensuring all maintenance services are delivered in line with agreed SLA’s & KPI’s, meeting statutory and legislative requirements.
- Ensuring all Compliance PPM’s and remedial works are delivered in-line with PPM schedule
- Conducting regular health and safety audits and inspections.
- Ensuring that all PPMs are delivered within the agreed timescales and SLA’s.
- Effectively managing a team of Depot Maintenance Technicians and Depot Maintenance Assistants to ensure smooth running of all works within the depot.
- Relevant National Electrical Qualifications.
- NVQ Level 3 within Electrical Installation
- City and Guilds 7671 18th Edition
- Experience in a similar role, with proven experience of managing teams.
- Understanding of all regulations relevant to the Electrical industry
- Previous experience of developing client relationships at a senior level would be advantageous.
- Strong PC literacy, with experience in extracting, collating and presenting performance data along with a good understanding of the CAFM systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent planning, organising, prioritisation, and project management skills.
- Strong results focus, takes accountability for own performance and that of the team.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making.
- Highly flexible and self-starting. The role will have many challenges and a flexible approach will be needed.
