This community focused charity is currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their team for the equivalent of four days per week on a permanent basis. Based in Surrey you will deputise for the Head of Finance and have critical input into all thingsmonthly reporting, whilst also helping to streamline several key processes.

**The key duties of this Part-Time Management Accountant role are as follows**:

- Take the lead in the production of monthly budget holder reports for your area of responsibility, investigating any variances as required.
- Work in close partnership with the Head of Finance in the production of the consolidated management accounts, taking full ownership of the P&L and balance sheet.
- Full responsibility for coordinating the monthly ledger close across the team, ensuring all reconciliations have been completed in a accurate fashion.
- Ensure all payroll and income journals are posted into the system and that VAT returns are submitted in a timely manner.
- Be at the forefront of several process improvement initiatives, with the aim of enhancing working efficiencies.

This part-time Management Accountant role is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional who is excited by roles offering variety and exposure to a wide remit across finance. Furthermore, the organisation are currently offering a hybrid approachto work, with a minimum of two days per week required in their Head Office.
- Achieved their full accountancy qualification or be a finalist.
- Previous experience of at least assisting in the production of management accounts,
- Strong knowledge of bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience preparing payroll and pension journals.
- Ideally, a background working in the not-for-profit sector, but this is by no means essential.
- Brilliant communication skills.
