Maintenance Person for Family Property Portfolio

**Family Description and Location**:
We are seeking a full-time property maintenance person to join a British family with a portfolio of residential properties located between London (Victoria and Chelsea) and the Surrey/Hampshire border. The family values the upkeep and maintenance of their properties and is looking for an individual to ensure the smooth operation of these private residences.
- Building Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance of the buildings and promptly respond to any emergencies that may arise.
- Light Bulb Replacement: Monitor and replace light bulbs in all buildings as needed.
- General Carpentry: Perform ad-hoc repairs and maintenance tasks related to carpentry.
- Plumbing and Electrical Work: Conduct basic plumbing and electrical work, identifying when further attention or professional assistance is required.
- Electrical Switch Repair: Handle minor electrical work, including repairing electrical switches.
- Property Maintenance: Responsible for rubbish removal, painting, and overall maintenance of the properties.
- Assigned Duties: Undertake assigned duties and emergency tasks as required.
- Identify Repairs: Identify and report the need for major repairs.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as necessary.
- Additional Maintenance Duties: Carry out any other maintenance duties as assigned.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Effective communication with employees, contractors, and vendors.
- Self-starter with a strong ability to work as part of a team.
- Prioritization and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in using standard powered and non-powered tools.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record within the last 3 years.
- Efficient time management and ability to work independently.

**Days of Work and Salary**:

- Working Hours: Generally Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00.
- Employment Basis: Full-time permanent position with a contract.
- Parking: Parking will be provided at all locations, but a personal vehicle is required for commuting.
- Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
