Cell Supervisor

The company
A UK-wide Manufacturing company based in Leicester, with over 80 years of experience in supplying tier-one components, specialising in machining, castings and designing jigs & fixtures for several different industries. They are looking to grow their team within their 100,000 sq foot facility and continue to push their quality culture throughout the business.

The role
As Cell Supervisor you will oversee company H&S policies, coordinate machine loading according to production schedules, and ensure finished products are transferred to logistics at shift end. You will also manage employee productivity, address quality issues, and maintain cleanliness standards within their area while facilitating process improvement initiatives as directed by management. This is a four-day workweek (Mon-Thu) with 39 hours/week and flexible work options available.

**As Cell Supervisor you will take responsibility for**:
Ensure all employees adhere strictly to the company's Health & Safety Policy, maintaining a safe working environment.

Load machines according to Production Manager schedules, monitor output, and promptly report any impact on productivity to the Production Manager.

Identify and label non-conforming products, promptly reporting any quality issues to the Quality Manager or Production Manager for resolution.

Act as the first point of contact for employees within the area, conducting return-to-work interviews, managing holiday forms, and addressing any reasonable requests from management.

What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful Cell Supervisor to have the following experience:
1+ years experience in a supervisor position in a manufacturing setting.

Understanding of CNC machinery and its operation.

**Other DESIRABLE skills include**:
Experience programming / setting / operating CNC machinery.
